I just did the trip plan to get us to the Pacific Northwest, which is the usual route back to the mainland from Hawaii. 2440 miles. So, we continue to prepare.

First up, the new exhaust mixing elbow. Here's the newly welded one with the bit from the old one on the left.

Next up, Malo and Moses kindly came over and help Ann clean the waterline so we'll have a smooth fast hull.
We’re planning to leave Saturday if weather conditions hold, so Ann’s out doing some final provisioning and I’m fixing a few final things around the boat.
Ready, set, go! Looks like you are all set for the final leg of the journey home! Safe travels and may those angels that have been watching over you throughout this adventure fly as fast as you sail.
(Note to Ann….OMG that’s a long way up to the top of the mast. You are one brave gal!)
Are you sticking around Hawaii for a bit or trying to get out as soon as possible? Can’t wait to see you guys!
Well, uke factory, Diamond Head, Submarines, Battleships, and a little work on your own boat. Whew….you guys have been up and around. I thought Hawaii was all luaus, fruit drinks, and hammock time.
Are you getting excited that this is the leg home? How many days do you expect it will take? Wishing for fair winds easy days.
Can’t wait to get a real Hawaiian uke recital.
Prepare on, prepare on sailors…..
