A Short Break

Yup, we’re going home to my daughter, Kelly’s, graduation from university.

So…we’ll take a two week break from the blog and resume on July 1st.  We have a friend watching over Charisma while we’re back in the States.

See you all back then when we’ll be back in Fiji and heading out to the islands again for a summer (winter here) of fun.

  1. Woohoo! What a great occasion to celebrate. Enjoy your time with family and a big congratulations to Kelly. Safe travels.

  2. Hey, Ann is holding the fish upside down. I’ll get all confused. Don’t the fish have the right to be hanged right-side-up after being caught? Seems like you guys have found a better fish market than my local Safeway. 🙂

Hey, what self respecting adventuring world sailors just up and call a timeout from their explorations? Why, back in my day sailors were real men. They went to sea and stayed there as long as it took! None of this, “Oh jeez, I gotta go home,” for a little break stuff. More proof the human race is on it’s last legs.

    Congrats to Kelly.

  3. Hi, armchair sailing, via your blog – admittly only once a quarter to see where you are. sadly we are same place, Manly brisbane, and same contacts if you need something. Last week I was in Akaroa and the high country mountaineering in south island….inspiration to get the cash together and do the necessary work to “AB” to get her out of marina. Marcelle doing all the work, me still gagging on that big anchor half way down.
Sail and travel safe – kind regards Bruce

  4. OK, you guys, break is over. Those of us who live vicariously through you are dying to start hearing of your adventures again!
