I don't know what happened but when I popped on the blog today it caught me up from Mt. Daniel post. All I can say is Wow! And wow again!
You are, indeed, in a magical land. And so entirely different from your Pacific adventures. This is exactly the kind of country I love - peaks, granite, canyons, waterfalls, streams, fog, rain, cold; simply beautiful. Since it's getting hot and hazy around here I am jealous. Although, just looking at the pictures does cool me off a few degrees.
Congratulations on your parking skill. And also for trusting your captain skills at the rapids.
